June 14th 9am-11am Rushville, IL PLC is partnering with The Hub and Arts Cultural Center in Rushville to offer some creative nature learning! Our Program Coordinator Jaime will be leading a class on how to use nature journaling as a creative outlet while learning about the natural world around us.
The event will take place at Schuy-Rush Park for the entire two hour class.

June 15th and 18th 9am-Noon Peoria, IL Join our monthly third Sunday or Wednesday work days at Elwood Wildlife Preserve! Led entirely by volunteers, these work days aim to improve wildlife habitat.
June 21st 9am-Noon Join our summer intern Sophia Berrong for a Stewardship Work Party at Wigwam Hollow Bird Sanctuary! Our goal this summer is to weed around all 1,000 of our native bare-root tree plantings! Come help these young trees get a head start on growing this season.
July 5th 8:30am-11am Macomb, IL This Conservation Tour invites you to explore 135 acres of prairie that supports a native bobwhite quail population with local farmer Brent Fowler! **Can't make this tour? Don't worry, Brent is also offering the same tour again on Aug 9th!

How to get to Stony Hills Nature Preserve? Simply perform an internet search and click on google map directions. Please note that if you type in an address it may send you to the opposite side of the preserve as the main event so call our office ahead of time if you'd like to receive some direction! 309-833-4747
